>Community Involvement Program
The Community Involvement Program was initiated by the New York University Institute for Education and Social Policy in 1996 to build capacity for grassroots organizing for school improvement in New York City schools through policy and data analysis, research, and training. These articles and reports, published from 1996 to 2005, address a range of topics such as charter schools, community, parent, and youth engagement in education reform, and accountability. In September 2006, the Community Involvement Program left New York University and became part of the Annenberg Institute for School Reform at Brown University.
