> Online tool

This guide describes a brief, focused data-collection protocol that can help districts plan for successful changes in leadership or programming. The review is a means for recognizing accomplishments and acknowledging weaknesses that enables leaders to build on their system's strengths. The protocol guides participants through a five-step process for establishing a clear timeframe and defining a specific focus for the review, creating a research design and collecting relevant data, and analyzing and sharing the results. Includes supplementary frameworks and samples. (Note: this protocol is still in development and revised versions will be posted periodically.) (2007)
