What is this tool?
Assessing Patterns of Resource Distribution is a free online tool designed to help a wide range of stakeholders identify possible inequities in school budgets within a district, using publicly available data.

A new supplement to the online tool, A User’s Guide to Getting School-Level Budget and Enrollment Data, features:
- an explanation of the basics of school budgets
- information on how to get the data you will need about expenditures and enrollment to use the online tool
- embedded Excel spreadsheets with detailed, step-by-step instructions that help you generate all the figures on expenditures you will need to enter in the online tool
