Children Achieving's comprehensive approach to education reform resulted in extensive change to Philadelphia schools. In partnership with the Philadelphia School District, Children Achieving established high academic standards, an accountability system, and professional development to support teachers and principals to reach these standards. Children Achieving institutionalized full-day kindergarten and expanded the number of small learning communities across the district. Affirming their success, the students of Philadelphia significantly improved their academic performance, especially in the early grades, as a result of these programs. RESOURCES
