The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) serves over 54,000 students every year in 136 schools and is the seventh largest school district in California. The school district staffs over 10,000 employees, including teachers, administrators, paraeducators, and school and central office staff. As a single district county, SFUSD is responsible for both the school district and the San Francisco County Office of Education.

As part of SFUSD’s Vision 2025, the district aims to pursue significant shifts in its graduate profile, personalized pathways, re-imagined space and time, motivation and mastery, real-life tasks, cultural competence and multilingualism, blended learning, talent and collaboration, innovative system, and aligned investments.
