The Providence Public School District is in a time of great transition, as well as a time of great opportunity. It is time to come together to face our system's challenges and ensure that all of our students are achieving at high levels and being offered the tools they need to succeed now and in the future.Superintendent Brady has convened a Blue Ribbon Task Force to identify areas where local organizations and agencies can partner with the Providence Public School District to address some of our most pressing barriers to increasing student achievement. Members of the Task Force include parents and community members and representatives of city and state agencies, the business community, reform support organizations, foundations, colleges and universities, and other stakeholders.
First meeting of the Task Force: Wednesday, October 1, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
