PEER OBSERVATION
Peer observation, in which small groups of practitioners observe one another's work, take notes, and discuss with each other what they learned, is a useful way to gather information about adult practice in the school, reflect on it, and use it to improve teaching and learning.

SURVEYS
Surveys can allow the voices of various stakeholders to be heard, flag areas of concern, serve as a first step in a needs assessment or program evaluation, compare perceptions and attitudes among subgroups, or make perceptions transparent so they can be questioned and investigated.
