BRYTE works one-on-one with refugee youth grades K-12 in the home. We support the self-empowerment of refugee youth through providing academic tutoring and mentoring, as well as fostering community among students who share experiences of settlement in the United States.

This program seeks to recognize and memorialize the lives of those who suffered the middle passage as a result of Rhode Island's involvement in the transatlantic slave trade by organizing events and educational programs that focus on the impact of slavery and the slave trade throughout the state.
