Research Program Associate/Sr. Research Program Associate

The Research Program Associate/Senior Research Associate will work with the Faculty Director of the Annenberg Institute, professors of Education, and members of the Annenberg Institute project teams to support and collaborate on education policy research projects. They will develop and execute research projects by leading data collection and analysis efforts and writing academic papers. Major responsibilities include guiding, designing, and implementing original research with one or more projects; supporting faculty and affiliates in writing, proofreading and editing academic papers, presentations, and grants. This position requires a strong independent work ethic, interest in education, and quantitative research skills.

Education and Experience for Research Program Associate

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, economics or related social science fields and 2-3 years of research experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A strong quantitative background
  • Experience in Stata, Python, and R to analyze data using economic tools
  • Strong Interest in education research
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team

Education and Experience for Senior Research Program Associate

  • PhD and 2-3 years of research experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A strong quantitative background
  • Experience in Stata, Python, and R to analyze data using economic tools
  • Strong Interest in education research
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
