Burke O’Brien is a Research Program Associate at the Annenberg Institute, where he works with Professor John Papay. His current work focuses on the effects of standardized assessment policies on students’ long-term outcomes in the state of Massachusetts. He graduated from Brown University in 2019 with a double concentration in Economics and International Relations. His research interests include the economics of education and policies designed to improve schools. Prior to joining Annenberg, Burke was an Economic Policy Studies Research Assistant at the American Enterprise Institute.
